Extra-curricular

We offer a range of extra-curricular activities over the school year including:

• Years 3 to 6 choir. Both junior and senior choirs participate in school function, eisteddfods and community events.
• Years 4 to 6 instrumental music lessons in brass, strings, woodwind and percussion. Involvement in instrumental music can also lead to a position in the stage or concert band.
• Stage band
• Concert band
• Gabbinbar's Got Talent.  Our enrichment arts program, Gabbinbar's Got Talent, is offered as lunchtime activities, where skill development is the focus. Each year there is a production and a culminating showcase of the skills the children have learned in the extension program.
  
• Chess club. This group offers tutoring and tournaments for beginners through to advanced players.
• Toowoomba district sports carnivals and sport trials. Students ten years or older are able to participate in trials in a variety of sports including swimming, athletics and cross-country.
